I haven’t posted a blog for quite some time. To be honest, I was a little worried about the material I was posting which led to me over thinking the whole thing, which in turn rendered me useless.
It’s been a funny start to the year with a quiet February and March I was left with the opportunity to go through my ginormous to do list which really does grow as we get deeper and deeper into the year. After an early easter we were all ‘thrown’ into a double bank holiday month. I say ‘thrown’ because when you work in hospitality that is 100% what it feels like 😊
Now we have reached June and although I have not been productive in keeping you guys in the loop, I feel I have worked out my priorities for my work and personal life. Spending time giving my weeks more structure and learning how to run the b&b and my holiday let to their full potential without running myself into the ground. So, on that note I have decided to do more of a “Newsletter” post for you. I was inspired by my yoga teachers latest Newsletter and I thought it was a great way to keep you up to date with any events I have going on here, any nice reviews on the b&b, recipes, household tips etc. Fingers crossed I am able to keep this regular, but I must say, sometimes the physical side of my job can leave my online work piling high, but I will do my best 💪🏼
If this is not something you want to invest in, I will not take it personally. You can unsubscribe at the bottom of this mail out💛
The b&b has had some wonderful reviews this year which I am extremely proud of. Please take a moment to have a read, you can see all of these on my PRESS page.
I am also over the moon to have pushed passed the 100 5* review mark on TripAdvisor As a small business TripAdvisor is a wonderful online marketing tool. It helps bring custom my way and lends such great support to b&b’s, hotels, inns and self catering accommodation. I think I would be very stuck without it. I’d also be stuck without the growing support of all my guests, so a big thank you to you! 💕
I also have the wonderful honour of announcing the start of ‘Urban Retreats’ at hannah’s hosted my myself and Blossom Yoga
I spend most of my spare time doing yoga, reading about mindfullness and concocting nutritious meals. So together Gemma and I have created a way to share this passion of ours with you!
It’s going to be a great way to experience some local cooking, local gin, local music and the chance to spend your evening under twinkly fairy lights at hannah’s. Proceeds where possible will be donated to my charity of choice, Winchester Youth Counselling. What a fun friendly way to spend a Tuesday evening 😍
Thank you for getting to here and reading my little up date. Get in touch if you are interested in coming to any of the events here at hannah’s. I look forward to logging in again soon 😘
